Image Composition

Thanks to this portable application you can take several images, arrange them just the way you want, and come up with a beautiful composition that you can be proud of. So go get Image Composition if you need a user friendly tool you can use to create collages.

I mentioned above that Image Composition is a portable application. You see, you don’t need to go through any installation process to get started with the application. You just need to download an archive, extract and run the executable inside. This makes the application portable – just put its executable on a USB stick and off you go.

The interface is divided into three panels. From the one to the left you can select a folder that contains images. The panel in the upper right presents thumbnail previews for the images inside the folder you selected. And the main panel presents the composition you’re working on. If you’re working on more than one, there will be tabs for all the compositions.
From the View menu you can change the way the interface looks.

From a functionality point of view, here is what you can expect to get from Image Composition: use any images you want; pick a background color for the composition; arrange the images as you see fit; resize the images; rotate the images; save the project you’re working on; turn your composition into a JPG image (process marked as Generate in the Output menu); pick the size, resolution, image width and height for the composition you turn into a JPG image.

Please note that the Image Composition trial will not generate images larger than 640x480.
